Compliance and Certification for Cleanrooms
As you can imagine, cleanrooms have to be rigorously tested to ensure they are fit for purpose. With high end industries such as pharmaceutical, tech, and even aeronautics, you can’t risk your cleanroom not being up to scratch.
The cleanroom certification required depends on your business. For instance, if you are in the healthcare industry, you need a licence from the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MRHA) before manufacturing can begin. They will test the following:
- How well was the cleanroom constructed?
- Is the cleanroom in the condition promised when construction was agreed upon?
- Are all services connected and functioning?
- Does it function safely and as intended with personnel present?
Other industries require similar testing before certification is provided.
