The brief was to reimagine the home in a way that enhanced both its appearance and functionality, creating a space better suited to contemporary family living.
We delivered a full, end-to-end service, beginning with the design and planning process and successfully securing permission for a substantial two storey side and rear extension. This allowed us to dramatically increase the usable space while reconfiguring the internal layout to improve flow, light, and overall usability.
A key aspect of the design was achieving a balance between respecting the existing streetscape and introducing a more contemporary feel. The front of the property has been carefully designed to blend seamlessly with neighbouring homes, maintaining a familiar and cohesive appearance. In contrast, the rear embraces a clean, modern aesthetic, with larger openings and a more refined material palette that reflects the updated interior.
Inside, the layout has been transformed to support open plan living, creating a bright and connected kitchen, dining, and living space that serves as the heart of the home.
